Connect acts on behalf of Essex Housing and Essex County Council to collect information relating to the Shenfield Library development proposals.

The difference between data controllers and data processors

We currently use the following companies, who will process your personal data as part of their contracts with us: Google LLC to store and process your data, Mailchimp and Campaign Monitor for sending emails to you, and Insightly CRM to manage our relationship with you.

Outside of that we do not disclose your personal information unless we are required to do so by law.

If we transfer personal information about you outside the European Economic Area (EEA), where the data protection laws may not be as comprehensive as those in the UK, we will let you know and ensure that all reasonable security measures such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, binding corporate rules, or Privacy Shield certification are taken and that any third party processers will be required to process the information in accordance with information protection laws and we will notify you in your privacy notice if we are the information controller.

How long do we hold your personal information for?
